Research Reporting Guidelines

Moldovan Medical Journal adheres to the ethical standards described by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).

Authors are expected to adhere to these standards. Manuscripts submitted to the journal should conform to the ICMJE Recommendations and the following guidelines as appropriate:

• STROBE guidelines for observational studies;

• CONSORT guidelines for clinical trials;

• PRISMA guidelines for systematic reviews and meta-analyses;

• STARD guidelines for diagnostic studies;

• CARE statement for clinical cases;

• SAGER guidelines for reporting of sex and gender information in study design, data analyses, results and interpretation of findings.
