         Dr. Boris Topor is a Professor of Topographic Anatomy and Operative Surgery at Nicolae Testemitsanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Moldova. He received his MD degree in 1972 in the same university.
         In 1980 he received his first PhD degree (Dr. med) and in 1991 – the second PhD degree (Dr. habil. med), both in I. M. Sechenov First Medical University of Moscow, Russia.
         His research interests include the methods of teaching topographic anatomy and its significance for surgical procedures, bone tissue grafting, bone regeneration, elaborating new biomaterials for reconstructive and plastic surgery. At present, apart from the teaching, he is involved as the chief researcher at the Laboratory of Tissue Engineering and Cell Culture.
         Dr. Topor is the member of professional societies: Morphology (Chisinau, Moldova), Trauma and Orthopedic Surgeons (Chisinau, Moldova), Association of Surgeons (Chisinau, Moldova), Society of Inventors and Innovators (Chisinau, Moldova), Fulbright Program Alumni Association of Moldova (Chisinau), Honorary Member of European Society of Biomedical Applications (Milan, Italy).
         To obtain more professional experience, Dr. Topor visited the departments of Anatomy and Surgery in many universities:

In 2013 he was awarded with the National Premium, the highest prize of the Republic of Moldova.

         Dr. Sawa Kostin is a Professor of Pathology and Group Leader at Max-Planck-Institute for Heart and Lung Research, Bad Nauheim, Germany. He received his MD degree in 1984 in Nicolae Testemitsanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Moldova.
         In 1990 he received his first PhD degree in the Institute of Human Pathology, Moscow, Russia. In 2005 – the second PhD degree (Dr. med) in the University of Giessen, Faculty of Medicine, Germany with Distinction Summa cum laude and in 2008 – the third PhD degree of Venia legendi (Dr. habil. med) in the same university. In 2011 he was elected Honorary Member of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova.
         Research interests of Dr. Sawa Kostin are wide. He is a member in professional societies:

         Dr. Ion Ababii is the member of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova and Professor of Otorhinolaryngology at the Nicolae Testemitsanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Moldova. He received his MD degree in 1966 in the same university.
         In 1973 he received his first PhD degree (Dr. med) and in 1985 – the second PhD degree (Dr. habil. med), both in the Scientific Research Institute of Otorhinolaryngology, Moscow, Russia.
         His research interests include the etiology, clinical picture and function of the suprarenal cortex in complex treatment of acute spasmodic laryngotracheitis in children and recurrent inflammatory diseases of middle ear and upper respiratory ways in early childhood. Apart from the teaching, he is involved at the Laboratory of Otorhinolaryngology as the chief researcher.
         In 1993 he was elected the member of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova. In 1994 he was appointed Rector of Nicolae Testemitsanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Chisinau, Moldova. In 2005 he was appointed the Minister of Health of the Republic of Moldova.
         Dr. Ion Ababii is the Doctor Honoris Causa of Medical University of Craiova (Romania), University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Targu Mures (Romania), International University of Vienna (Austria), Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Bucharest (Romania).
         Dr. Ion Ababii published in English, Moldovan and Russian languages 420 scientific works. He is a consultant for 22 theses of MScdegree and adviser for 12 theses of PhD degree. He is the author of 56 innovations, 31 patents of invention, 7 monographs and 5 textbooks.

         Dr. Gheorghe Ghidirim is the member of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova and Emeritus Professor of Nicolae Anestiadi Department of Surgery at Nicolae Testemitsanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Moldova. He received his MD degree in 1963 and in 1969 his first PhD degree (Dr. med) in the same university.
         In 1983 he received his second PhD degree (Dr. habil. med) in All-Union Scientific Center of Surgery, Moscow, Russia.
         His research interests include the surgical methods for treatment of pancreatitis, associate trauma of thorax, abdomen and pelvis, esophageal, gastric and duodenal hemorrhage, reconstructive and plastic surgery, endoscopic and mini-invasive surgery. He is the head of two big projects: “Optimal diagnostic and treatment algorithm of the pathology and trauma of the hepato-pancreato-biliary area” and “Diseases and trauma of intraabdominal and retroperitoneal organs: optimization of diagnosis and treatment methods”.
         He was elected Chairman of Nicolae Anestiadi Department of Surgery at Nicolae Testemitsanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Moldova, Deputy of Parliament of the former USSR, Minister of Health of the Republic of Moldova, President of medical section of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, President of surgical association of Moldova, and President of the Medical League of Moldova.
         He is awarded as the Eminent of health care system of the USSR, Honorary citizen of the Republic of Moldova, with order Gloria Muncii of the Republic of Moldova, the order Ordinul Republicii and medals Nicolae Testemitanu, Dmitrie Cantemir, 60 years of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova. In 2012 he was awarded with the National Premium, the highest prize of the Republic of Moldova.
         Professor Gheorghe Ghidirim published in English, Moldovan and Russian languages 550 scientific works. He is an adviser for 36 theses of PhD degree. He is the author of 45 patents, 6 monographs and 2 manuals. He is the honorary member of the Academy of Sciences of Romania, the Romanian Surgical Society and the Romanian Society of Laparoscopic Surgery.

         Dr. Stanislav Groppa is the member of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova and Professor at the National Scientific Institute of Urgent Medicine. He received his MD degree in 1979 in Nicolae Testemitsanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Moldova.
         In 1985 he received his first PhD degree (Dr. med) in Nicolae Pirogov Second Medical University of Moscow, Russia and in 1992 – the second PhD degree (Dr. habil. med) in Nicolae Testemitsanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Moldova. In 2007 he was elected the member of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova.
         He is involved also in teaching as the Chairman of the Department of Neurology and Head of the Scientific Laboratory of Neurology and Medical Genetics at Nicolae Testemitsanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Moldova and in the research of the National Center of Human Reproduction and Medical Genetics. He is the founder and chairman of the Moldovan League of Anti-Epilepsy.
He is visiting Professor of Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Iasi, Romania; The National Institute of Health of Erevan, Armenia; University Clinic of Geneva, Switzerland.
         Dr. Stanislav Groppa published in English, Moldovan and Russian languages 310 scientific works. He is a consultant adviser for 16 theses of PhD degree.          Dr. Victor Vovc is a Professor of Physiology at Nicolae Testemitsanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Moldova. He received his MD degree in 1972 and in 1975 – his first PhD degree (Dr. med) in the same university.
         In 1993 he received his second PhD degree (Dr. habil. med) in the Institute of General Pathology and Pathophysiology of Academy of Medical Sciences, Moscow, Russia.
         Now he is the chairman of the Department of Human Physiology and Biophysics at Nicolae Testemitsanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Moldova.
         Apart from the teaching, he acts as the chief researcher for realization of projects:
